This is the first piece I made for a customer.

It was modeled on a famous sword from the Kamakura period (1185-1333) called "Namazuo Toushirou," and the client wanted it to be a mirror of his mind.

It is a special shape of wakizashi called "kanmuri-otoshi" and it takes a lot of skill to make this shape beautiful.

The beautiful hamon of Suguha, with some changes and utsuri.

This is a carving called naginatabi.

The owner still sends me photos from time to time.
I am very happy to know that he cares for this work as if it were his own child.
